Our instructors have extensive hands-on experience in residential and commercial building, remodeling, contracting, etc. They not only know how to inspect a building, but how to build or repair it from the ground up and how the various components and systems work and interact with each other. Our instructors are some of the best at what they do in the USA today.
We don't train inspectors to pass tests although
we show them how and what to study to do so - we train
inspectors to inspect buildings and to be good at
doing this. Our Senior Instructor has been one of
the most active ASHI and NAHI inspectors in the Midwest.
He has founded and been the president and founder
of 2 different ASHI Chapters. He has authored over 68 newspaper
articles on home inspections, done several local TV
special exposes shaddy construction or
bad home inspections, and teaches construction and
building courses at various local colleges.
Three (3) of our instructors have been the President
of state ASHI Chapters. One of our
Instructors is the President of MAREI
(Missouri Association of Real Estate Inspectors).
One of our instructors is the President
of the Missouri Coalition of Home Inspectors
(a not-for-profit state-wide association home inspectors
- NAHI, ASHI, NACHI and unaffiliated). One of our
instructors is the Education Director
of the state NAHI Chapter. Two (2)
of our training instructors have been elected to serve
on ASHI's National Board-of-Directors.
Five (5) of our instructors have been asked by NAHI,
ASHI and NACHI to teach at local or national training
seminars for them. Our Senior Training Instructor
was presented with the highly esteemed "Educator
of the Year" award by NAHI
for the year 2003.
